Shantina Bell serves as the Office Manager for the National Consortium for Academics and Sports. Located at National Headquarters at the University of Central Florida, Shantina’s primary responsibilities are to maintain the office’s professional atmosphere and to ensure that all day-to-day tasks are complete in a timely and professional manner. Not only is she the assistant to all located at National Headquarters, but she is also the primary contact for both NCAS members and nonmembers.

A native to Florida, Shantina was born in Daytona Beach where she currently resides. After graduating from Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, FL, she was later employed by the high school as a Teen Parent Assistant. In 1995, she transferred to Palm Terrace Elementary School where she started as a receptionist and was quickly promoted to Registrar, and finally to Office Specialist ll (secretary to Assistant Principal) dedicating a total of nine years to the Volusia County School Board.

From 2001 to 2004, aside of working for the Volusia County School Board, Shantina assisted Urban Promotional Enterprises, Inc. (UPE). UPE’s goal is to provide entertainment for events of all kinds, both personal as well as professional. Shantina’s biggest events in this industry include when she was hired by the NAACP of Daytona Beach to provide the entertainment for President Bush’s visit to LPGA as well as the inauguration celebration of the current Police Chief of Daytona Beach.

Inspired by her aunt and motivated by her three sons, Shantina started her own boutique, TDJ Styles, Inc.
