National Consortium for Academics and Sports' Annual Conference

The NCAS is a national organization that serves colleges and universities across the nation who are dedicated to educating student-athletes and using the power and appeal of sport to positively affect social change.

The NCAS provides an Annual Conference for continuing education purposes that provides members with cutting edge information via speakers, roundtable discussions and interactive programming dealing with the pertinent social issues they face in their athletics departments and communities each day.

Panel discussions and breakout sessions take place throughout the three day conference as well as updates on program development and new programs. There is also an opportunity to meet with NCAS Executive Committee Members and make contacts with member institutions from across the country.

In addition, the NCAS presents training sessions on NCAS programs including the Mentors in Violence Prevention Program and Teamwork Leadership Institute.

Institutions and individuals who are interested in becoming members are strongly encouraged to attend the NCAS Annual Conference. If an attendee decides to join after the conference, conference fees are applied toward NCAS membership dues for the upcoming year. Annual Conference fees are waived for up to two representatives of each member institution.
