are the most popular training options for colleges and universities:
#1:
Train The Trainer (TTT) Programs
This option empowers an organization or campus with the tools necessary
to implement MVP on a wide-spread basis. TTT participants will be qualified
to facilitate MVP sessions with a variety of groups long after MVP trainers
leave. Two MVP trainers will provide a two-day TTT program for 25-30
organization or campus leaders. Includes MVP curriculum materials and
a comprehensive follow up training report.
#2:
90-Minute Awareness Raising Sessions
This option will bring four MVP trainers to an organization or campus
for up to three days to provide 90 minute Awareness Raising Sessions
for participants. Participants may include but are not limited to student-athletes,
other student leaders, university and athletic staff, professional athletes,
social service providers and educators. Includes excerpts of materials
and a comprehensive follow up training report.
#3:
Three-hour Training Sessions
This option will provide a solid, as well as practical, understanding
of the MVP program and provide tangible tools for participants to utilize
in dealing with these issues. Includes excerpts of materials and a comprehensive
follow up training report.
#4:
Six-hour Training Sessions
This option will provide an intensive MVP training for individuals who
will likely want to train on this material in the future. This training
will allow participants to experience several, full educational units
on topics including battering, alcohol & sexual consent, gender
roles, healthy/unhealthy relationships and general awareness raising
about the issue of men’s violence against women. Includes excerpts
of materials and a comprehensive follow up training report.
