Cody Rush is a senior on the University of Nebraska Men’s Track and Field team. Rush has received many awards to recognize his academic achievements and dedication to community service. He was recently selected to serve as the Big Ten Representative for the 2015-2016 school year. Rush was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2014, 2015), which includes a minimum of six service projects in the academic calendar year and also represented his team as the winner of the Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award (2014). Rush is a recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award (2014) and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar (2014). Rush has been accredited on a national level for his achievements by being selected for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team (2013, 2014), CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team (2014), and CoSIDA All-District VII First Team (2014).

Rush has been a participant on the Husker’s Track and Field team since freshman year. He is currently carrying a 3.92 grade point average and majoring in nutrition and health sciences.

Amanda Hill is a senior and team captain on the West Virginia University (WVU) Women’s Soccer team. Hill an animal lover, has volunteered over 400 hours at the Cheat Lake Animal Hospital. She also has volunteered over 100 hours, respectively, at the Washington Area Humane Society and with Hearts of Gold Service Dog Organization. In support of her team and for the love of soccer, Hill has volunteered over 100 hours with WVU Soccer tournaments, camps, and clinics. She regularly volunteers at HealthWorks and HealthSouth in the Aquatic Therapy Department. Hill also serves as a tutor for Davis Michael Scholars program.

Hill has been named to the Academic All-Big 12 Soccer First Team (2014, 2013, 2012) every year since her freshman year. Hill is also on the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, the President’s list, and the Dean’s list. Majoring in exercise physiology and animal nutritional sciences, Hill is carrying a 3.971 grade point average.
